Dr Colin Freer BDS

Colin (male) qualified from Glasgow Dental School in 1994. Following graduation he worked in a variety of practices in Glasgow and Falkirk, including a private practice in the city centre. Colin has also spent some time working in Australia. Whilst down under he increased his wide experience of dental specialties, working in hospital and school dentistry as well as the flying doctor service! In 2007 he joined the Stepps practice. He is committed to providing the highest quality family dentistry but with a wide experience of cosmetic and reconstructive dental procedures as well. Colin can also cater for all of your aesthetic dental needs.
Cameron Boags BDS

Cameron (male) is a dental surgeon with a passionate interest in all aspects of restorative dentistry. In an attempt to offer a breadth of high standard care for his patients, he has completed post-graduate training in several disciplines of dentistry. These range from Hospital-based oral surgery to cosmetic and aesthetic alignment and restoration.
Cameron has a particular interest in endodontics (root canal treatment) to attempt to save teeth, as well as dental implants to provide a solution for spaces where teeth may have already been lost. His aim is to provide treatments in-keeping with the modern ethos of conservative and minimally invasive dentistry. Outside of dentistry, he is a keen golfer who enjoys watching sport and walks with his British bulldog. "
Mr Jeff Downie BDS MBCHB FRCS OMFS FDS RCS FDS RCPS

Mr Downie (male) is a consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has a specialist interest in Facial Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery. He currently practices facial surgery in the West of Scotland, split between Glasgow and Forth Valley. His NHS sub-speciality is facial deformity and post traumatic facial reconstruction. In addition he treats skin cancers and salivary gland disease. He is trained in all aspects of hard and soft tissue oral-facial surgery. Mr Downie first qualified with commendations from Edinburgh University in 1991. He is qualified in Medicine, Surgery and Dentistry.
His basic general surgical and maxillofacial training was undertaken in the West of Scotland and Tayside. Following this postgraduate training he has been awarded fellowships in surgery from the Edinburgh, Glasgow and London Royal College of Surgeons.
Harry Clark BDS

Harry (male) qualified as a Dentist from Dundee Dental School in 2023 and joined the Stepps Ahead team as a Vocational Dental Practitioner. He is passionate about delivering quality dental care and treatment to his patients. He is interested in all aspects of general dentistry and actively enjoys learning. He is friendly, caring and compassionate and enjoys making a positive difference for his patients.
Outside of dentistry Harry enjoys golfing and spending time with his family and friends. He is looking forward to the year ahead and his time at Stepps Ahead Dental Care.
Claire Gallagher Hygienist/Therapist

Claire (female) qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 1988. For 19 years she worked in a variety of dental practices gaining vast experience in patient care. In 2009 Claire returned to study Dental Therapy in Edinburgh. Claire believes it is important that patients are comfortable during treatment and her main objective is to encourage the highest standard in personal dental hygiene whilst ensuring patients have a positive experience when visiting the hygienist.
Megan McCallum BDS

Megan (female) is a registered GDC dentist and fully insured in advanced facial aesthetics delivering natural results from skincare, to wrinkle relaxation to facial volumizing treatment.
She believes in creating bespoke treatment plans for each individual client to keep you looking and feeling your best.
